The Host in White

Heaven’s fire is burning in me

just like it burns in the Holy City.

God’s Spirit burns brightly in the midst of His Host;

Blessed Father, Son, and Sweet Holy Ghost.

I will be there to see them burn brightly

because His word I’ll never take lightly,

and He has promised we’ll see His Face

when we’ve allowed Him to run our race.

Yes, Heaven’s fire is burning in me;

where I’ll serve my Master, eternally,

and never grow used to or tired to see

the “Host in White”, which includes me!

From every nation they’ll gather there

forever rejoicing, all freed from care.

God will coronate His Holy Lamb

and crown Him ever, “The Great I Am”

and I will be there, yes, I will see

the Redeemed shouting and I will be

standing right in the midst of them;

shining and shimmering just like gems!

Let God’s fire burn in all of His might

and my heart rejoice with His Host in White!

HALLELUJAH! God’s fiery Host in White!

“Your Shout!”

  1. Restore my heart when virtue rises in me and goes out.

Renew my voice, refill my soul, endue me with Your shout!

My Lord, My God, it’s all day long I sing and worship You.

I see Your face and hear Your voice and share them with the few

You have commended to my hands and heart to know Your praise.

Your tongue of Wisdom and of Love I’ll value all my days.

And when my life has ended and my cup has overflown,

my wounds and hurts all mended by the balm that I have known,

I’ll reach up with my hands and with my heart to heights anew,

until my redeemed soul and vital spirit mesh with You.

Refresh my wearied body, Lord, so that I can press on,

and be the Voice within me drawing others to Your Song!

I have no need to fear the evil forces or their pranks,

for Your hand goes before me wreaking havoc in their ranks.

Rest mighty on my focus, God – remove all fear and doubt;

and tumble walls of envy, bursting through them with Your shout!

Circle of Prayer

How many prayers were prayed for me
and lifted to God on a bended knee?

How many sacrifices were made
by God-fearing souls so I could be saved?
That I would be righteous, unyielding, and wise;
and ever press on toward the mark of the prize?

So I should remember, give thanks, and be glad
that those gone before me, in white linen clad,
did not think it lowly to lift prayers for me,
but cited in God’s heart the deep urgency

that I should be favored by what they would pray –
His Scepter extended, no hint of delay
to snatch my young heart from beelzebub’s grasp
and seal it with LOVE which forever would last!

Yes, how many times was I lifted in prayer
that God’s faithful Signet of Life would be where
neither thief can break into, nor rust can corrode;
and I would rest safe in His Bosom’s Abode.

So now I say “thank you” as I watch and pray
for souls to be touched by the words I will say
in grateful entreaty, petitions I’ll start
that lives may be changed by the Love of God’s Heart.

why do we pray

Father, All-Knowing

God knows the trials that, daily, we face
trying to mirror His love and His grace.

He treasures the littlest things that we do
and sends great reward in His timing to

encourage our gladness and strengthen our hearts
that though we don’t dare to share all our thoughts

He knows what they are and knows them right well;
His love never faults us for wanting to tell

the things that just make us ‘look good’ in His sight.
He knows of our struggles and sees through the night

upon all our hardships and stresses and faking;
He urges we strip off the frauds, undertaking

the knowledge of His unconditional love
so we can stand honest before Him with ‘tubs’

sitting upright and full of His patience and care
overflowing with honesty, willing to share

all the “uglies” with Him; all the good and the bad,
and the prideful events, and the thoughts that we’ve had.

God wants us to take all the time that we need
to be naked and truly confess every deed

so His love and forgiveness can take full effect
to repair and renew our dear hearts from shipwreck.

So that we can come boldly before His Great Throne
with love everlasting that our hearts have known

belongs to us solely from now ’til the end
purifying us holy like our greatest Friend.

He’s ally, He’s Faithful, He’s our Mighty Father
to His heart we’re precious and never a bother.

Encourage my heart, Sovereign God of all flesh!
You’ve saved me completely from all threat of death.

My life is Your canvas and Your tapestry
I’m rescued from ruin and, from sin, set free!
