Twins: I Love It

Thoughts occur to me,
thoughts occur to you.
God shares them with both of us
seemingly out of the blue.

My heart quickly beating and my mind
throws a pure line out to you.
I know what thoughts you’re thinking,
and I know you know my thoughts, too.

New words will form on your lips,
their idea will flood through my mind;
they then will pass through my heart
with utterances not far behind.

(A silent exchange, a human exchange linking my heart to yours, and I like it.)

It’s odd that thinking my thoughts
is so much like thinking yours.
Our brains have been fused together
on God’s supernatural forge.

’cause that’s what lives are about
when they’re joined as our lives have been.
Beyond our imaginations
having nothing to do with sin.

(It’s time that I wrote about it, and left it no longer ignored…)

For we were “breathed out” together
from God’s Benevolent Form;
our hearts run along His true tether
and, for both of us, this is the norm.

We think, we speak, we act as one mind
that God-given unity’s so hard to find…

and I LOVE IT.

Jesus and Tea

cup of tea

Tea is like the Lord, so soothing and so sound.

It heats up all my insides and is fragrant going down.

Its deep, rich, amber color is so like the Throne of God

and the lights which spring forth from it in rotating thunder rods.

The leaves of tea bring healing just like the Tree of Life

and birth in me new energy, and grant me sleep at night.

Leaves brown and green mark new roads in humility and life.

A crown and ring God gives to me as His pearl of great price.

Yes, tea will ere remind me of what God has done for me,

and I will ere be grateful for their similarities.

You’re All I Want – A Song of Desire for Jesus

We Only Want You - DG post

Lord, You’ve made the flowers
But we only want You

You’ve made the sunshine
But we only want You

You’ve made the oceans
But we only want You

You’ve made the mountains
But we only want You

and the sweeping green pastures
But we only want You

Lord, it’s not that we don’t recognize
the deep richness of Your power…

But we desire to be reconciled
to Your heart, above all things!

Lord, You’ve made the sunsets
But we only want You

You’ve made the rainfalls
But we only want You

You’ve made the pebbles
But we only want You

skipping lightly upon the streams.
But we only want You

You’ve made my day break
But we only want You

after nights of suffering
But we only want You

I seek Your favor and
Your heart above all things!

Mighty God, I LOVE YOU
I see Your green eyes through the residue

of all life’s troubles, all life brings to discourage me…

Without Your HEART, Your loving care
I would view favor as despair

and I just want to sacrifice my praises ALL DAY LONG…

TO YOU
Because I only want You

TO YOU…
Because I only want You

TO YOU…  TO YOU!

My Lord, all I really want… is You…

Thanks Be to God!

Father, Your Love to me is wonderful.
As flowers yield their depths to sunlight, I have opened my life to You.
You have welcomed me with grateful Arms;
I am loved, nurtured, and bathed in springtime rain.
While shielded from the sting of winter’s harsh and bitter grasp,
Your kindness nestles me in the comfort of Your womb.
All I have, and all I know, is LOVE for You.
You are all things to me, dear Lord, and
for this, I truly thank You.

Father, Your Love for me is incomparable
and, as orchids link their fiery hues to summer’s buttery breezes,
I give my breath to You in song.
Your Strong Winds blend all utterances with Your Eternal Life.
I am Yours to direct in Your Good Pleasure.
All fragrances of Love and Life are Yours and precious to me.
You’ve pressed the flower of my life within Your Bosom’s pages;
eternally remembered by You.
Your harmonies go on in me in praises everlasting;
I’m bursting with Your Wind chimes!
In You I will rejoice!

The passion of my life is Your symphonic masterpiece.
For this and every phrase of JOY, My Father, I do thank You.
